Welcome back!

The first day of the 2017-18 school year is September 5th, and we look forward to seeing our students again! Our grade specific welcome letters are posted on the website. The schedule for the first day is included. The instructional hours of the school are between 8:00 am – 2:30 pm, and dependent on your student’s program (Intermediate / Secondary). During these hours, parents/guardians are asked to communicate with the Main Office should your child be arriving late or leaving early for reasons such as appointments / illness etc. Please consider adding our school’s Google calendar to your smart device so that events/opportunities for families and students are part of your family’s schedule

NEW! SchoolCash ONLINE​

Parents/guardians are encouraged to sign up for ONLINE payments for school-related items such as the Yearbook, student activity fees, athletic/team fees, field trips and more! This is a safe, secure and convenient way to make payments to the school. Please see the attached document for the steps to register!​


Timetable Pick Up & Lockers

Students will be able to come into the CAFETERIA to pick up their timetables, and choose a locker from a detailed school map. Due to ongoing construction, students cannot place their own locks. However, authorized staff will be securing locks to students’ chosen lockers ahead of the first day of school. Students are asked to note their locker number on their timetable at the time of pick up.


Grade 12              August 29th, 8:30 am – 10:30 am

Grade 11              August 29th, 8:30 am – 10:30 am

Grade 10              August 31st, 8:30 am – 10:30 am

Grade 9                August 31st, 8:30 am – 10:30 am for timetables and fees only.
                             Lockers will be assigned on September 5th

Grades 7 & 8      Lockers will be assigned by your Homeroom teacher on September 5th



Students who are eligible for PRESTO passes will receive them on their timetable pick up day or once school has started. It may take up to two weeks for all passes to arrive at the school and for distribution to occur. It is essential for students to REGISTER their PRESTO pass with OC Transpo. A registered PRESTO provides a replacement process for the student in the case of loss or theftPlease see the attached registration instructions from OTSA / OC Transpo.​


Parents/guardians are directed to the OSTA website for more specific information as well as to inquire about route information for students who will access yellow bus or van transportation. Not all students will be eligible for transportation. Please review the information available on the OSTA website.
